Works with the heat you already have
Most booking tools only talk to central thermostats. STR Spark runs the rest of a mixed portfolio under one set of rules.
Baseboard heaters
Through Mysa thermostats on baseboard and in-floor heat. 72° while guests are in, 55° when the place is empty, and switched back to heat if someone left them off.
Beta Mysa has no official connection.

Ductless mini-splits
Cooper & Hunter and Cielo. Guests can set anything from 66° to 76°, and outside that range the next check brings it back to 71°. Empty units hold their lowest heat setting. A unit a guest turned off stays off.

Space heaters
Dreo heaters as backup heat. 65° while guests are in, eco mode at 55° when the place is empty, so they only run to keep pipes from freezing.

What it saves
A rental empty for nights a month, costing a day to heat at 72° and at 55°, saves
a month.
Example figures: tap one to put in your own from a utility bill. The sum is vacant nights × (daily cost at 72° − daily cost at 55°).
$8 a month for eachlive property.
Every device at the property is included. Properties in a dry run or paused are free, so trying a new one costs nothing. 30 days free with a card; cancel any time from Billing.
Questions hosts ask
Do I need new thermostats?
No. STR Spark signs in to the app your devices already use. If you can change the temperature from your phone today, STR Spark can too.
Can guests still change the temperature?
Yes. On mini-splits anything from 66° to 76° is left alone. Outside that range, the next check brings it back to 71°.
How quickly does it react to a booking?
It checks your bookings every 3 hours and starts heating 24 hours before check-in. A booking made on the day is picked up at the next check.
Which booking platforms does it work with?
Hospitable, and any platform that gives each listing a calendar link: Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com among them.
Is it safe to give it my device logins?
They are encrypted as soon as you save them and used only to sign in to that vendor. The safety page covers how, and what Beta means for Mysa and Cooper & Hunter.
