When it isn't sure, it leaves your heat alone

A cold guest or a burst pipe outweighs a month of heating savings, so every rule leans toward leaving your devices as they are.

The rules

Clear ice built up around the mouth of a pipe where its water froze as it ran
Water from a pipe, frozen where it ran.

If a device goes quiet, you hear about it

A power cut or a Wi-Fi drop can leave a heater off at an empty property. When a device stops answering for a while, STR Spark emails you once, says which one and where, and keeps the rest of the property running. It emails again when the device is back.

What Beta means

Mysa and Cooper & Hunter don't offer an official connection. Ours works today but can stop if they change their apps. If it does, we email you and leave your devices as they are. Cielo and Dreo connect through their official APIs.

Your device passwords

They are encrypted as soon as you save them, used only to sign in to that vendor, and never shown again, not even to you. Where a vendor offers an API key instead, we ask for that. Your STR Spark account has no password at all: you sign in with Google, Apple or an emailed link.

Try it on one property first

Every property starts in a dry run, which is free and changes nothing.
